The site currently offers a 24-hour service and shift patterns. This role is 15 hours a week – weekends only. 7:00am-15:00pm. Flexible to do day and night shifts.

Salary
This position is full time; you’ll receive an annual salary up to £41,475 per annum FTE – depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Provide outstanding, patient-centred care, listening to and acting on patient feedback to ensure care is personalised and informed by what matters to them. Focus on safe medicines management and maintaining patient records to the required standard while following standard operating procedures.
* Deliver non-judgemental care within the scope of professional standards, including timely administration of medicines and contributing to cost-effective prescribing as defined by our Health in Justice medicines policy. Work as a key member of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications required
* NVQ Level 3 or above, BTEC or equivalent
* ACT Qualified
* Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council
* Up to date with Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
* Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience
* General GCSE education or equivalent
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment is desirable but not essential.
