Business Intelligence Engineer, MENA CX Product

Our team owns building products for the onsite shopping CX of MENA customers. We are looking for a Business Analyst to lead efforts in quantifying the customer funnel, building entitlements, and automating daily/weekly tracking of shopping events. The leader in this role will be the starting point for product roadmap creation, demonstrating customer advocacy and developing a strong understanding of quantified customer behavior. This role partners with Product Managers, Tech, and Business teams in MENA and worldwide to establish feature value. It requires working in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment, demanding speed and depth, stakeholder influence, and leadership in communication with L8+ leaders.
Key job responsibilities
This role owns shopping funnel entitlements and enables features to be quantified, helping to close entitlement gaps. Given that MENA is a dual-language region, the role involves reporting on shopping journeys in both languages for regular stakeholder reviews. The candidate will analyze the platform impact of launched or experimental features and lead course corrections with Product Managers. Since data sources for customer events are not standardized, the role also involves innovating to secure access to the right customer event data to establish impact.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* 3+ years of experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
* Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Quicksight, or similar
* Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines
* Experience with statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab
* Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and scripting in Python for data processing
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with AWS solutions like EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
* Experience in data mining, ETL processes, and working with large-scale, complex datasets in a business environment
