Job Description:
We’re looking for a Customer Service Assistant to join our team at One Stop, a subsidiary of Tesco. As a Customer Service Assistant, you will work in a fast-paced retail environment where no day is the same.
You will play an important role in the store's daily operations by providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves, processing payments, and helping maintain the store’s appearance.
Since the customer is at the heart of everything we do, you will be encouraged to improve service through on-the-job coaching and feedback, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for everyone.
Responsibilities:
* Serve customers with passion and pride, delivering natural service.
* Encourage customer feedback via surveys.
* Work across store areas including online, tills, replenishment, vending, and stock routines.
* Follow safety training and procedures.
* Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events.
* Understand store performance and contribute to profitability.
* Live our values, make everyone feel welcome, and adhere to policies.
* Clock in and out accurately to ensure correct pay.
* Follow security procedures and use safety equipment.
* Serve age-restricted products following the 'think 25' policy.
* Respond to assistance calls and explain actions to customers.
* Maintain a clean, organized store environment.
* May be responsible for shift management in absence of supervisors.
* Complete all training to ensure safety and compliance.
* If applicable, undertake Post Office operations, including background checks.
