We are seeking a strong, commercially aware Service Delivery Manager to lead our team and drive performance.
The Role
This is a key leadership position within our Service Delivery Team, responsible for managing engineers and ensuring the successful delivery of reactive and planned maintenance services. The candidate will lead with authority, maintain discipline, and ensure high standards of service delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Engineer Management: Manage a team of engineers, motivate them, and align their work with delivery expectations. Communicate workload, priorities, and client expectations clearly.
* Service Delivery Oversight: Oversee reactive and planned maintenance, ensuring timely and quality execution. Maintain energy and urgency across activities.
* Client Communication: Maintain contact with key clients to ensure satisfaction and manage expectations. Represent brand values in interactions.
* Commercial Performance: Grow GP margin through efficient service delivery and cost control. Support sales by aligning delivery with commercial goals.
* Performance & Discipline: Meet KPIs and enforce operational standards. Conduct regular performance reviews.
* Team Leadership: Foster team spirit, maintain authority, and adopt a firm management style when necessary.

* Leadership: Strong character, able to lead decisively without needing to be everyone's friend.
* Commercial Awareness: Understand financial impacts of decisions and act accordingly.
* Energy & Motivation: Bring energy to the team and drive urgency.
* Communication: Maintain open, effective communication with engineers, clients, and teams.
