This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire pupils to develop practical skills, creativity, and problem-solving through hands-on learning. As a Design Technology (DT) Teacher, you will deliver engaging lessons that encourage innovation and technical understanding across a range of materials and design processes. Key Duties: Plan and deliver high-quality Design Technology lessons. Teach a variety of topics such as product design, resistant materials, and basic engineering concepts. Support pupils in developing creativity, practical skills, and technical knowledge. Ensure safe use of tools, equipment, and workshop environments. Assess pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery. Essential Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience working as Design Technology Teacher in a school setting. Strong subject knowledge and classroom management skills. Ability to deliver practical lessons safely and effectively. An engaging, enthusiastic, and hands-on teaching approach.
