Part time self employed carer vacancy. 13-26 hours plus holiday/sickness cover
Location: Neston
This role is supporting a gentleman in his own home alongside his wife.
This role is based in the home but very occasionally you may go out of the home for a short drive, go shopping etc
●Medication Assist (blister pack medication)
●Monitoring of glucose levels using a sensor (no finger pricks)
● Assistance with stoma care: this is mostly prompts.
● light food preparation
● basic household cleaning tasks.
Must haves:
● Kind caring nature
● Good clear communication
●Driver with use of a car.
● experience with Stoma care, diabetes and dementia OR a willingness to learn and ask questions.
Training will be provided.
Shift patterns are 6pm-7am/7.30am the vacancy is for 1 week day 1 weekend day so must have weekend availability.
Your time will mostly be spent chatting, drinking tea(coffee is also allowed)
Watching television and films. This role would suit a mature experienced carer with flexibility to help cover holidays or sickness but don't worry this is always a team effort.
