The Role
Based in Sheffield, you will join the Real Estate Knowledge Counsel team, working closely with Real Estate Transactions, Legal Project Management and Legal Tech/Automation teams.
This role combines traditional knowledge counsel responsibilities with a significant focus on leveraging innovation tools and legal technology to enhance transactional efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing legal support and guidance to the Real Estate Transactions team
* Maintaining and developing standard documentation
* Delivering legal updates on sector developments
* Designing and delivering training programs
* Innovation Focus: Working with Legal Project Management and Legal Tech teams to implement AI and other legal technologies to streamline real estate transaction processes
Requirements
* Comprehensive knowledge of real estate legal practice and market sectors
* Demonstrated experience with legal technology and AI tools (such as Harvey, Orbital Copilot, knowledge management systems)
* Strong interest in legal innovation with understanding of basic coding/programming principles
* Excellent organizational skills with ability to provide clear, concise legal guidance
* Strong market awareness and understanding of client commercial drivers
* Outstanding communication, presentation and training capabilities
* Competitive salary (annual review) around the £90,000 mark
