We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Care Home Manager to lead our dedicated team.
Role Overview
As Care Home Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the service, ensuring that high standards of care are maintained and that the home operates in line with Ofsted regulations. You will lead, support, and motivate your staff team to provide an outstanding level of care and safeguarding.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the daily operations of the children's residential home.
* Ensure the home complies with all relevant legislation, regulations, and Ofsted standards.
* Promote a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for children and young people.
* Provide strong leadership and management to the staff team, ensuring effective supervision, training, and professional development.
* Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, staff, and external professionals.
* Manage budgets, resources, and administrative requirements effectively.
* Drive continuous improvement and ensure the service achieves "Good" or "Outstanding" outcomes with Ofsted.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience working with children in a residential or care environment.
* Proven management experience in a children's residential setting.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, children's legislation, and Ofsted regulations.
* Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
* Ability to manage teams effectively and support staff development.
* Registered on the DBS Update Service.
* Relevant Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards).
