Job Opportunity: Events and Marketing Specialist
This role involves spearheading a strategic events and hospitality marketing plan that aligns with business objectives and supports wider marketing initiatives. The individual will need to comprehend the desired outcomes for the sales teams and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver a successful plan.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the Events and Hospitality Manager to serve as a liaison between private, public, wholesale, and SMB teams.
* Work closely with the wider marketing team to ensure event and hospitality programs drive strategic objectives, potentially collaborating with external agencies.
* Ensure compliance and governance are maintained for all hospitality and events.
* Develop measurable metrics and demonstrate ROI, being willing to adjust or pause projects if returns are not feasible.
* Deliver exceptional events and hospitality experiences that drive tangible commercial outcomes.
* Contribute to the execution of flagship events, such as the Customer Advisory Board and supporting communications.
* Collaborate with multiple areas of the marketing team to create experiences aligned with strategic vertical, segment, and campaign plans.
* Manage budgets for executed elements of the plan.
* Provide results and ROI on customer activity.
* Bring innovative ideas to enhance BT's presence in a competitive market.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in planning and executing events and hospitality initiatives.
* Demonstrated success in delivering impactful marketing campaigns.
* Proven ability to create engaging and memorable experiences that delight customers and drive advocacy.
* Capacity to work with senior stakeholders across different teams to deliver activities on time and within budget.
* Strong collaboration skills across various teams to deliver targeted activities.
* Highly organized and interested in achieving high-quality project management delivery.
* Experience in evaluating program effectiveness and demonstrating return on investment (ROI).
* Skilled in managing senior stakeholders across departments to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
