Responsibilities
* Provide advice and guidance to managers and staff, ensuring clarity and consistency in the application and interpretation of organisational policies and procedures.
* Handle matters relating to terms and conditions of service, employee relations, and employment legislation.
* Support managers in conducting investigations, ensuring advice and support adhere to Once for Scotland policies, NHS Fife policies, relevant employment legislation, and recognised best practice standards.
* Support the HR Service Desk and enquiry portal to assist managers and staff in accessing timely and accurate HR information, guidance, and assistance.
Qualifications and Experience
* Proven track record of operating effectively at a comparable level within the HR field.
* Strong communication skills to clearly convey information and guidance to managers and staff.
* Sound interpersonal skills for building positive working relationships and navigating diverse workplace dynamics.
* Experience in a multi-unionised public sector organisation and ideally NHS experience; partnership working is advantageous.
* Education to degree level or equivalent experience in an operational HR position. Ideally, CIPD membership or active progression towards CIPD becoming or being pursued.

Interview Dates and Work Arrangements
Interviews will take place on 23 April 2026. From 1 April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part-time hours will be reduced pro-rata, with a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay is not affected.
