About the Role
As a Building Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering Level 2 and Level 3 residential and commercial surveys in accordance with RICS Home Survey Standards. You\'ll work closely with a collaborative and experienced team of Chartered Surveyors and consultants, receiving continual technical support and CPD, including funding for RICS membership and ongoing learning.
This is an office-based role during the probation period, after which a hybrid working arrangement may be considered.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out Level 2 and Level 3 property inspections and prepare detailed reports
* Diagnose common and complex defects using sound building pathology
* Advise clients with clarity, professionalism, and practical recommendations
* Communicate findings effectively through written reports and direct contact
* Meet a personal fee turnover target of £150,000 per annum
The Ideal Candidate
* Recently qualified as AssocRICS or MRICS
* Experience conducting property inspections and writing professional reports
* Technically sound with an eye for detail and excellent communication skills
* Motivated, reliable, and keen to build a long-term surveying career
* Able to work independently while being part of a wider collaborative team
