Brook Street Social Care is currently recruiting dedicated and compassionate Support Workers to work with children and young people across the North East.

As a Support Worker, you will:
Provide day-to-day care and emotional support
Support learning and engagement within educational and residential settings
Promote independence and positive behaviour
Follow care plans and behaviour strategies
Build positive, professional relationships
Maintain accurate documentation
Safeguard and promote well being at all timesRequirements
Minimum 6 months UK care experience
Experience supporting adults, children and young people
Residential or education experience desirable
Ability to work flexible shifts (including evenings and weekends)
Strong communication skills
NVQ Level 3 in Children & Young People or adults (desirable)
