Overview
Workshop Manager – West London, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, £50,000 - £60,000. Benefits include: Pension, 20 Days Holiday, Bank Holidays, 7 Days Holiday for Christmas/New Year Shut Down.
Workshop Manager position available in a well established company. This role will suit someone looking for an autonomous role in a family run business.
Responsibilities
* Oversee a small team to ensure products are manufactured on time and to order.
* Interact with clients to understand and help define the brief.
* Provide quotations, schedule work, determine materials and ensure staff are meeting required quality and efficiency standards.
* Manage the workshop and all orders from enquiry to delivery.
Role in Brief
* Experience overseeing a small bespoke manufacturing process.
* Estimating and quoting work.
* Customer liaison.
* Stock control.
* Oversee the manufacturing processes to ensure product meets specification on time and within budget.
* Manage a core team of 3.
Person Required
* Experience managing a small production/workshop.
* Experience reading drawings.
* Can estimate and produce quotations.
* Excellent customer facing skills.
