The Best Connection are seeking to recruit Drivers Mate to work with their client in Newton Aycliffe. Our client deliveries on behalf of some of the UK's leading retailers, e-tailers, and manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting the driver with daily delivery routes
* Loading and unloading white goods and furniture
* Helping to carry and install items safely into customer's homes
* Using a hand held device to record deliveries
* Calling or speaking to customers prior to arrival - must be polite and professional
* Ensuring all items are delivered safely and in good condition
* Representing the company in a friendly, helpful, and respectful manner
The candidate:
* Good level of physical fitness - heavy lifting involved
* Confident communicator with good customer service skills
* Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team
* Experience in delivery/furniture handling is a bonus, but not required
* Comfortable using basic tech (hand held devices)
Hours of work:
* 06.00am start
* Weekend work required
* Ability to take additional shifts available
Pay Rates:
* £12.21 per hour on Days (Flat Rate)
