PMO Manager – c£65,000 Hybrid, North West

We're supporting a leading organisation with an exciting opportunity for an experienced PMO Manager to join their Change function. If you're passionate about driving high‐quality delivery, strengthening governance, and leading a high‐performing PMO team, this could be your next move.

You'll play a key role in shaping the change portfolio, ensuring projects are well‐governed, assured, and aligned to strategic objectives. The role is hybrid, with one day on site per fortnight.

What we are looking for:

* Strong PMO leadership experience within complex change environments.
* Background in IT, regulatory or business change delivery.
* Knowledge of waterfall, agile and hybrid methodologies.
* Experience managing portfolio, programme and project lifecycles.
* Confident stakeholder manager with the ability to influence and challenge.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding of risk, governance and controls.

What you will be doing:

* Lead and develop the PMO team, driving consistency and continuous improvement.
* Maintain and enhance the Change Policy, Framework and governance standards.
* Oversee PMO templates, tooling and reporting processes.
* Own the assurance framework, leading checkpoints, audits and lessons learned.
* Produce clear, accurate MI for senior leadership and governance forums.
* Support prioritisation of new change proposals against strategic objectives.
* Ensure decisions are supported by impact assessments, options analysis and benefits evaluation.
* Work with finance partners to support budget oversight across the change portfolio.
