Base pay range
Role: Integration Developer / Software Developer - 2 year FTC
Salary: up to £53,000 pa. 2 fixed-term contract
Location: Hybrid – Norwich (office presence required for key project phases)
We’re looking for an experienced Integration Developer to help deliver a high-impact transformation project. You’ll be connecting a brand-new, cloud-based customer experience platform with multiple business-critical systems, ensuring services are seamless, efficient and user-friendly. This is a chance to directly influence how thousands of residents and service users interact with key public services.
About the Role
You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth communication between the customer experience platform and a range of internal systems. Your work will support automation, streamline workflows, and improve customer interactions. This fixed-term position is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, a solutions-focused mindset, and the ability to work closely with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement integrations that enhance the customer experience platform.
* Develop integration solutions for:
* CRM systems
* Webforms
* Workflow and Case Management tools
* Identity and Access Management systems
* Reporting and Analytics tools
* Content Management solutions
* Ensure integrations support automation, business rules and end-to-end data flow.
* Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues quickly during the project lifecycle.
* Document technical specifications, workflows and integration architecture.
* Maintain compliance with GDPR and accessibility standards.
* Provide technical expertise during platform mobilisation and handover.
* Share knowledge effectively with internal teams and suppliers.
Skills & Experience Required
* Degree/professional qualification in IT, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* Proven track record of developing software integrations in a cloud-based environment.
* Strong knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML and middleware.
* Experience with CRM, case management and reporting tools.
* Understanding of secure coding practices.
* Comfortable working in Agile teams.
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
* Experience in local government or public sector.
* Knowledge of data protection law and web accessibility standards.
Working Model
Hybrid role – a blend of remote and on-site working, with on-site attendance for key delivery phases and collaboration sessions.
