Indoor Plant Care Technician (Horticulture)

Contract: Temp to Perm
Hours: Full‑time, 35 hours per week
Pay: £15.00 per hour + travel costs paid
Do you love working with plants and enjoy bringing indoor spaces to life? We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Indoor Plant Care Technician to join our team in London. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience caring for indoor plants or a basic horticultural qualification. You’ll receive initial mentoring to help you settle in and feel confident in the role.
Key Responsibilities
* Caring for a wide range of indoor plants across multiple client sites
* Managing watering schedules and understanding varied plant requirements
* Pruning, deadheading, training, planting, re‑potting, and general plant maintenance
* Identifying pests and supporting plant health management
* Travelling between locations on foot, by bike, or public transport
* Working independently or in pairs depending on the site
* Providing friendly, professional customer service to business clients
* Handling pots and plants, including some heavy lifting
* Supporting early starts and providing holiday cover
What We’re Looking For
* Strong experience with indoor plants or a horticultural qualification (RHS Level 2, BTEC, NVQ, City & Guilds, HND)
* A genuine appreciation for plants and plant care
* A professional, reliable, and positive attitude
* Flexibility and confidence working in varied environments
* Good physical fitness for travelling between sites and handling equipment
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
