Overview
Academy Health and Wellbeing Physiologist – Permanent, Full time. Up to £27,900 per annum, depending on skills and experience. 40 hours per week. This entry role is based at a mobile location within your region; travel will be required.
Key Responsibilities
* Join our multidisciplinary team of doctors, physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals.
* Complete our in‑house three‑week training course.
* Help promote health and fitness as part of our holistic health service.
* Deliver health assessments that support health and well‑being goals.
* Support prevention as well as rehabilitation and recovery.
* Be passionate and caring, putting client needs first.
Additional Expectations
Complete our award‑winning preceptorship programme during the first 12 months in the role. Attend a training camp scheduled for September 2026.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2:2 Sport and Exercise Science degree or equivalent.
* Knowledge of human physiology, exercise, biochemistry, anatomy/biomechanics, psychology and nutrition.
* Ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
