Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer South Shields | Monday to Friday | 6am–2pm Let’s skip the clichés. This is for an engineer who’s happiest when they’re on the tools, spotting problems before they become breakdowns, and keeping the kit running without being babysat. It’s an FMCG site that runs well — not perfect, but they’re investing in the right areas. You won’t be expected to duct-tape your way through the shift while someone in an office wonders why uptime isn’t at 100%. You’ll be working days only. No night shifts. No panama pattern that has you wondering what month it is. Just 6am to 2pm, Monday to Friday. They’re after someone with an electrical bias. You’ll need to: Know your way around electrical systems (Level 3 qualified) Be confident fault finding and keeping downtime to a minimum Have a bit of initiative — not everything will be handed to you on a job sheet Ideally come from a food or FMCG background You won’t be micromanaged, but you will be expected to get stuck in. If you’re an engineer who wants to do a decent day’s work, be part of a tight team, and still make it home for lunch, this might be worth a look. Fancy a chat? Get in touch...
