Strategic Relationship Manager
Service Care Solutions are recruiting an experienced Strategic Relationship Manager to support the Ministry of Justice on a full‑time, long‑term contract.
Location: Hybrid – any MOJ site across the UK (ad hoc travel to meetings, occasionally)
Contract type: IR35 – Inside IR35
Daily rate (Umbrella):£650 per day
Security Clearance: BPSS
Key Responsibilities
* Lead strategic relationship management and senior stakeholder engagement across multiple workstreams.
* Manage commercial activity from inception/strategy through to contract award.
* Run open and competitive procedures and ensure scope documentation aligns to client needs.
* Work closely with legal teams to support drafting/negotiation of contract terms and conditions.
* Deliver strategic, high-risk, high-value contracts and frameworks, ensuring value for money.
* Identify and manage commercial risks; support pre‑ and post‑award negotiations and dispute resolution.
* Provide clear, actionable insight to decision makers in complex and ambiguous situations.
Essential Experience
* Proven strategic relationship management, partnership management, and senior stakeholder engagement experience.
* Construction sector experience (or strong working knowledge), including supply chains and commercial drivers.
* Strong public sector / government environment experience (governance, assurance, accountability).
* NEC contract knowledge and strong construction commercial experience.
