About the Role
Teaching Personnel is excited to be recruiting a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in a friendly and inclusive primary school in the [Area] area.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with ALN
* Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored learning activities
* Adapt learning materials to suit individual needs
* Support pupils with communication, social, emotional, and sensory needs
* Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and independence
* Work closely with teachers, the ALNCo, and other professionals
* Help create a warm, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment

* Has a genuine passion for supporting children
* Is patient, empathetic, and nurturing
* Has experience working with ALN pupils (desirable but not essential)
* Is flexible, proactive, and a great team player
* Communicates clearly and professionally
* Is open to training and professional development
Desirable Skills & Qualifications
* Experience in a 1:1 setting
* Experience supporting children with autism, speech & language needs, or emotional/behavioural challenges
* Team Teach/positive behaviour support training (advantageous)
