Box Leisure Recruitment "The Cutting Edge of Leisure Careers" RESIDENTIAL PARK MAINTENANCE & GROUNDS ARERA SUPERVISOR Residential Park | Woolacombe | Permanent | Full Time Salary: £27K - 28K Hours: Full Time | Permanent Accommodation available and company van for work use only. Purpose of the Position Supervise grounds maintenance projects throughout southern region. Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget. Ensure that project objectives are met and in line with continued business growth. Responsibilities & Accountabilities: - Agree project objectives with Contracts Manager. - Provide advice on the management of projects. - Organising the various professional people working on a project. - Carry out risk assessments ensuring that H&S regulations are complied with. - Ensure that all aims of planned project developments are met within time and budget. - Ensure quality standards are met. - Using IT systems to keep track of people and project progress. Prepare regular progress reports for Senior Management review (with assistance from Head Office Park Operations Team). - Resource allocation - any building project will need resources from bricks and mortar to tools and basic amenities. To be responsible for understanding what these are and ensure they are available. - Responsible for recruiting a team and allocating tasks to relevant workers. It may mean identifying suitable contractors who can complete the work and ensure deadlines are met. - Together with the Contracts Manager be responsible for the financial planning and monitoring of projects, consider continually forecasting, keeping management informed of forecasts and changes, managing scope meticulously. - Ensure that tasks are delegated effectively and staffs remain motivated to complete projects to a high standard. - Take active involvement in works. This Job Description responsibilities and accountabilities are non-exhaustive. There will be additional duties required within your remit of your role, which will be designed and consulted with you by your direct report. Person Specification - Grounds Maintenance Project Manager Education & Qualification Essential Desirable Good level of education background. Experience Proven working experience in project management within the industry Proven experience in service delivery with the focus on customer satisfaction and business development. 2 years practical construction experience ("on the tools") Demonstrable management experience Proven project management experience. Skills & Attributes Strong leadership skills. Effective communication, interpersonal and influencing skills Exceptional organisational skills. Commercial awareness. Team working skills Ability to motivate others. Flexible approach to working hours.
