About Our Client

Job Description
* Support Partners in securing Capital Loans, including incremental increases and settlement upon departure.
* Preparation or Partner Accounts including Capital Comparison computation.
* Review monthly drawings.
* Remaining abreast of industry changes that impact the firm and making recommendations for policy or procedure changes as needed.
* Working closely with the Financial Controller on the year end audit and preparation of the annual financial statements including all subsidiary company accounts.
* Preparing schedules for year-end Partnership accounts and audit (for UK and overseas offices)
* Preparation of year-end journals and reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely closing of the year-end. Work includes but not limited to: Bad debt provisions, holiday carry over accruals, depreciation, etc.
* Managing the Charitable Trust including account preparation and audit.
* Review of Partnership Tax computation, working alongside Head of Tax.
* Review key statistical data to the Office of National Statistics.
* Review quarterly VAT returns for all entities.
* Partnering with managers across the firm and assisting with the budget process.
* Provide support to Financial Controller and others in the Finance Team.
* Participate in systems upgrades and implementations ensuring that systems support both firm and UK statutory requirements.
* Mentor, coach and train accounting staff, ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures.
The Successful Applicant
* ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
* Experience in Partnership Accounting
* Four years' experience, post qualification in a relevant professional services environment
* Ability to build strong business relationships with internal clients and the resilience
* A confident, proactive individual prepared to take a hands-on approach to managing their workload using their own initiative
* Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and a good working knowledge of other Microsoft Office Packages (e.g. Word).
* Experience in using 3E accounting software (desirable).
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written, and spoken
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to multi-task, keep calm under pressure and work to tight deadlines
* Excellent attention to detail and good use of grammar
* Experience of working in a diverse team whilst fostering an inclusive team culture
* High level of professionalism and integrity; displays the highest standard of professional ethics
