Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide essential support to individuals in need of assistance. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, whether they are residing in their own homes, assisted living facilities, or nursing homes. Your responsibilities will include providing personal care, administering medication, and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Duties
* Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene and grooming.
* Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects.
* Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
* Assist with mobility and transportation needs, accompanying clients as needed.
* Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe living environment.
* Support clients with heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring their safety at all times.
Requirements
* Previous experience in home care, assisted living, or nursing home settings is preferred.
* Knowledge of medication administration protocols is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
* Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks when necessary.
* A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
