The Role? Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Workshop Administrator to join the team on a full time permanent basis, based in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen. The successful candidate will hold previous experience within a similar position in a fast paced operational environment, and ideally hold previous experience within the Lifting / Tooling industries. You will be responsible for supporting the Operations Director with all aspects of operations & project specific tasks. Alongside providing day to day administrative support to the Inspection Supervisor. What will you do? Responsible for the implementation and ongoing maintenance in relation to company digitalisation programme of equipment certification & tracking. Responsible for generating company work instructions / procedures in relation to the digitisation programme. Provide monthly project progress reports in relation to ongoing projects under their control. (InspHire / RI Connect). Ensure frequent visibility within the workshop environment to continue personal development and obtain an understanding of business operations (RI Connect, pre use and maintenance checks “why” processing, tag location). Liaise closely with workshop personnel and other departments addressing any administrative needs accordingly. Assist Inspection Supervisor to collate work packs on a monthly basis to support the invoicing process. Assist Inspection Supervisor to raise Purchase Orders as requested. Assist Inspection Supervisor to arrange travel as requested. Provide general administrative assistance to the workshop team as required. Your Qualifications & Experience? Essential Modern Apprenticeship / HNC in Business Administration and / or relevant experience in a similar position. Proficient user of Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook). Experienced using SharePoint. Strong administrative skills. Previous experience within a similar role / fast paced operational environment. Proficient in the use of InspHire (or other similar). Preferred Previous experience in the Lifting / Tooling / Inspection Industry. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Planner. Who are you? Interpersonal with good communicative skills at all levels.
