Overview
Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Data Analyst to join our proactive Information Services team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about data and its role in improving healthcare. You will play a key part in delivering accurate, insightful analysis to support operational and strategic decision-making across the Trust. You’ll also work closely with Business Intelligence developers and divisional teams to promote a self-service culture and ensure data integrity and quality. Flexible and part-time working arrangements will be considered for the right candidate.
Provide timely, accurate, and meaningful data analysis from clinical, workforce, and financial systems. Support the eRostering team with the full lifecycle of reporting — from requirement gathering to solution delivery. Work collaboratively with Divisional Analysts and the BI Development team to enhance and automate the Trust’s self-service reporting suite. Lead on specific data and analytics projects, liaising with stakeholders and developers to plan and deliver reporting solutions using tools such as SQL, Power BI, SSRS, and Excel. Identify and resolve data quality issues and support the implementation of robust data validation processes. Support and maintain the Trust’s Reporting Portal, ensuring information is accurate, accessible, and aligned with user needs.
