An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Manufacturing MRP Controller to support a multi-disciplined team in the delivery of production contracts containing both development and production elements.
Salary: Circa £48,000 depending on experience
Dynamic (hybrid) working: 4 days per week on-site, 1 day remotely due to workload classification

The opportunity:
As an experienced MRP Controller, you will manage all planning activities to deliver the Manufacturing Planning Schedule (MPS) on time, within budget, and to quality standards. This role supports multi-project customer deliveries at UK Manufacturing, Stevenage.
* Manage and supervise MRP Controllers in planning and scheduling materials within the MRP system, ensuring adequate supply for MPS output.
* Maintain the manufacturing production schedule for various programmes.
* Schedule work across all process manufacturing facilities.
* Maintain accurate manufacturing bills of materials and project strategies in the MRP system.
* Assess customer demand changes and their impact on inventory and programmes.
* Coordinate non-conformance management controls to ensure timely completion of MP&C tasks.
* Monitor inventory levels to manage financial implications effectively.
* Support team development, ensuring MRP Controllers are trained and skilled.
* Lead process improvements through team working groups (CIAGs).
* Review potential work and support resource estimation.
* Participate in supply review processes to develop a comprehensive supply picture, including:
o Driving planning best practices
o Supporting ABC/Product Segmentation analysis
o Supporting Statistical Safety Stock processes
o Reviewing KPIs and implementing actions
* Ensure health & safety compliance for deployed resources.
* Coordinate materials dispatch with proper documentation for delivery.
What we're looking for from you:
* Motivated Team Leader with proven experience in manufacturing planning, supply chain management, or related fields.
* HNC Level qualification or equivalent.
* APICs supply chain certification is desirable but not essential.
* Experience with SAP is beneficial.
* Strong planning and organisational skills.
