Our client, a global leader in manufacturing for the creative technology industry, is looking for a Procurement Development Manager/Analyst to join their team in Bury St Edmunds. Position Overview
In this role, you will be central to advancing the company's procurement function. You will analyse data, identify trends, and provide key insights that inform strategic decisions. Your work will directly support the development of effective procurement strategies, helping to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and ensure the highest standards of quality and compliance across the supply chain.
Responsibilities
* Analyse procurement data to find cost-saving opportunities.
* Support the development and roll-out of procurement strategies.
* Assist in supplier evaluation and performance monitoring.
* Create clear reports and dashboards for senior management.
* Collaborate with teams to coordinate sourcing activities.Help to optimise procurement processes, policies, and tools.
* Stay current with industry best practices and regulations.
Requirements
* Proven experience in data analysis and interpretation.
* Proficient with QlikSense, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Excel.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Strong understanding of procurement regulations and ethics.
* A degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
* A clear commitment to ESG as a performance measure.
* Professional certification such as CIPS is desirable.
* Experience with ERP systems, particularly IFS, is an advantage.
