Senior Administrator. Gloucester GL14 – Free Parking Office based role Salary: Up to £30,000 starting salary We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Administrator. The successful candidate will oversee administrative processes within the academic environment, providing high-level support to faculty, staff, and students. This role requires excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with educational policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: • Oversee daily administrative operations for academic and student services, ensuring smooth and efficient processes. • Support academic staff with scheduling, reporting, correspondence, and other tasks. • Coordinate student registration, and record-keeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal procedures. • Assist in the preparation of timetables, staff delivery, course documentation, and assessment records. • Mentor junior administrative staff, fostering professional development. • Liaise with students, faculty, and external stakeholders to provide guidance and support. • Prepare reports, presentations, and communications for academic committees and management. • Maintain accurate databases, filing systems, and compliance records. • Contribute to policy implementation and continuous improvement within the administration team. Qualifications and Experience: • Proven experience in an administrative role ideally within an educational setting. • Knowledge of academic processes, student records management, and regulatory compliance. • Excellent organisational, time-management, and multitasking abilities are essential. • High proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook). • Knowledge of HubSpot desirable. • Ability to learn new systems quickly and efficiently is essential. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Experience supporting academic staff or leadership teams is highly desirable.
