Further your career and take on a new challenge as a Functional Specialist!\n\nWe are recruiting for hybrid working Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Paramedics to make the most of their existing clinical knowledge and take on a new role with a leading, multi-national employer with Full time and Part time roles available.\n\nAs a Functional Specialist you will be providing unbiased, comprehensive assessments for the Government’s disability allowance (PIP) whilst ensuring a personalised, inclusive and empathetic service for the service user.\n\nBenefits Include:\n\n * Basic salary of £38,500 - £39,900\n\n * Salary increases in increments based upon successful completion of training stages\n\n * Hybrid, Full time\n\n * Training: Full time, 5 weeks’\n\n * 25 days Holidays per annum, rising to 27 days with service\n\n * Company Laptop and Mobile Phone provided\n\n * Access to Health & Wellbeing programme and Headspace mobile app\n\n * Annual charity day\n\n * Employee network groups\n\n * Company matched pension\n\n * Life assurance\n\n * 15 weeks’ paid maternity\n\n * Cycle2work scheme\n\nYour New Role:\n\n * As a multi-skilled Functional Specialist, you will manage caseloads from end to end which includes delivering face to face and virtual assessments, telephone assessments, initial review calls and paper based reports (PBR).\n\n * As a multi-skilled Functional Specialist, you will have greater job variety and autonomy to manage cases to conclusion.\n\n * You will assess the full range of health conditions and disabilities affecting the claimant, including physical, sensory, mental, intellectual and cognitive impairments.\n\n * You will have time built into your working rota for breaks, CPD, audit amendments, requesting and reviewing further evidence and team meetings.\n\nRequirements\n\n * Qualified Nurse, Mental Health Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist or Paramedic.\n\n * 1+ years post qualification experience.\n\n * Valid registration on NMC or HCPC without restrictions.\n\n * Excellent communication skills and strong IT literacy
