English Subject Lead (with Teaching Responsibility)
MPS/UPS (depending on experience) + SEN Allowance

The Role
This is a key leadership position with a teaching commitment. You will:
* Lead and develop a whole-school vision for English, literacy and oracy
* Ensure a coherent, ambitious curriculum from primary to post-16
* Take responsibility for a phase of the school (aligned to experience)
* Inspire and develop staff through coaching, modelling and high-quality CPD
* Use assessment intelligently to drive progress and outcomes for all learners
* Contribute to whole-school improvement and strategic development
You will play a central role in raising standards through outstanding teaching, curriculum leadership and strong collaboration.

About the Setting
This is a small, specialist school for children and young people aged 5–18 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC). We deliver a highly personalised, ambitious curriculum built around individual needs, combining academic, vocational and creative learning within a therapeutic, nurturing framework.
