The Firm Our client, a leading law firm, boasts a Finance team that is integral to the firm's strategy, reflecting a significant level of investment and engagement from senior leadership. The Opportunity The firm is seeking a skilled and experienced Client Cashier to join their dedicated legal cashiering function. This role is part of a close-knit team, offering the chance to provide high-quality support and respond to the changing needs and priorities of the department. You will: Handle the allocation and posting of all client fund receipts received via online banking Process payments out of all client funds, including online banking and cheque payments Execute client to client transfers and foreign currency transactions Manage client to office transfers for bill settlements when necessary Deal with interest calculations (both manual and automatic) Process the opening, closing, and maintenance of joint accounts Liaise promptly with the bank and effectively handle ad hoc queries from Partners, Associates, and Secretaries/PAsThis is a key support role for the firm's financial operations, allowing a personable and confident individual to build relationships with partners and key stakeholders.
