The role of Clinical Nurse Specialist is pivotal in supporting the delivery of our high standards care to all patients, their family and significant others. The successful individual will provide effective and visible leadership, ensuring high standards of nursing care is provided and drive forward both service development and quality improvement, ensuring we promote patient safety and a positive patient experience.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will have excellent clinical skills and experience caring for children and young people undergoing treatment for a range of oncology conditions.
The post offers the opportunity to further develop your knowledge, skills and expertise as a leader within Children and Young People’s Service (CYPCS). Our service is rapidly developing and expanding. We are at the forefront of specialist clinical practice and offer a unique opportunity to develop nursing skills and knowledge in this field.
