Primary Teacher (KS1) - Eastbourne - Maternity Cover
We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a welcoming school in Eastbourne for a KS1 class on a full-time maternity cover basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher looking to make a real impact in Key Stage 1 within a supportive school environment.
Role Details
* Position: Primary Teacher (KS1)
* Location: Eastbourne
* Contract: Full-time, maternity cover
* Start Date: September
* Year group: KS1 (exact year group to be confirmed)
Responsibilities
* Planning and delivering engaging KS1 lessons
* Supporting pupils' academic, social, and emotional development
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Working closely with teaching assistants and school staff
* Assessing and tracking pupil progress in line with school expectations
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) required
* Experience teaching in KS1 preferred
* Strong classroom management skills
* Passion for early primary education
* DBS certificate required or willingness to obtain one
