Role Overview
The Senior Business Analyst will report directly to the Lead Business Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
1. Identify and elaborate user and business needs to enable effective design, development, and testing of services and business change.
2. Ensure new products and services meet business and user needs and are aligned with organizational goals.
3. Analyze and understand a business problem or opportunity.
4. Identify areas for improvement, explore feasible options, analyze the effects of change, and define success measures.
5. Support decision-making related to prioritization and minimum viable product by using analysis-led insights.
6. Understand any business and policy constraints that need to be considered, and assess the implications.
You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
* Agile working. Identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods, measure and evaluate outcomes, and help teams manage and visualize outcomes, prioritize work, and adhere to MVP, priorities, and scope.
* Business analysis. Advise on identifying, investigating, analyzing, and communicating complex business problems and opportunities. Inform tactical decision-making and help define strategic plans. Recommend approaches to options analysis, feasibility, and operations, quantifying potential benefits. Ensure solutions align with business goals and needs.
* Business modelling. Lead process, system, and data modelling at various levels, managing effects of changes.
* Business process improvement. Identify opportunities, lead analysis, design, prioritization, and implementation of process improvements to enhance operations and services.
* Business process testing. Support design, execution, and assessment of business process tests and usability evaluations.
* Methods and tools. Build capability in methods and tools, ensuring consistent and effective adoption.
* Requirements definition and management. Advise on requirements management, coordinate prioritization, and collaborate with Product Owners.
* Stakeholder relationship management. Communicate with stakeholders, clarify needs, develop communication strategies, and resolve conflicts.
* Systems analysis. Identify and analyze IT system capabilities, develop models, and support system and interface design.
* Testing (business analysis). Recommend testing value, develop acceptance criteria, and review prototypes and test plans.
