Contentious Probate Lawyer - Trowbridge
Are you an experienced probate litigator ready for a standout opportunity? We're seeking a confident and skilled Solicitor or CILEx (3+ years PQE) to join an expanding litigation team. If you thrive on complex disputes and want to grow in a firm that genuinely values its people, let's talk.
The Role
You'll work alongside supportive Private Client and Dispute Resolution teams handling a diverse caseload of contentious probate matters, including:
* Challenges to wills (validity, undue influence, testamentary capacity).
* Inheritance Act claims for family and dependants.
* Executor and trustee disputes.
* Estate administration and interpretation issues.
* Court of Protection disputes (where applicable)
About You
* A Solicitor or CILEx with solid experience (3+ years) in contentious probate.
* At ease with sensitive, emotionally charged client matters often involving high-net-worth estates.
* Commercially savvy, with a clear and strategic approach to advice.
* Organised, proactive, and collaborative in style.
* Eager to build your profile and deepen client relationships in this niche field.
* Bonus: ACTAPS membership or working towards it is a plus but not essential.
