Senior Quality Engineer – Rail Infrastructure
📍 Bristol | 💷 £51-60k + £4,700 car allowance
We’re looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a major rail infrastructure project in Bristol. This is a hands-on role where you’ll ensure all works meet the highest standards, comply with client requirements, and drive a “Defect Free” culture across the project.
What you’ll do:
* Lead audits and manage quality systems across the project.
* Review and assess subcontractor documentation.
* Develop project-specific procedures and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
* Manage NCRs and snagging systems, ensuring timely close-out.
* Mentor junior team members and promote a “Defect Free” culture.
* Support handover processes and sustainability initiatives.
About you:
* Strong background in quality management in rail or construction projects.
* Experience with audits and auditing processes.
* Excellent communicator and team mentor.
* Familiarity with BIM Level 2 is a plus.
