Operating within the education space this role gives a marketing professional the opportunity to add value to society and be purpose driven in their role. You'll form part of a double-digit marketing team and have plenty of colleagues to collaborate with and work alongside. There's no need for experience in the education market but what you will need is a passion for helping people, great leadership skills, excellent project management and a breadth of knowledge across marketing disciplines. Some channels that you'll work on are social media, email, digital content, events, PR and paid media. Your role will be to lead strategy and delivery for specific markets across the mix.
About You:
* Skilled in planning, delivering and evaluating integrated marketing and communications activity across digital and offline channels.
* Excellent copywriting and content creation skills, able to adapt tone and style to different audiences.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and collaborate across teams.
* Commercially astute with experience of budget management and measuring ROI.
* Experience working with agencies, suppliers and wider partners to deliver campaigns and projects.
* Confident managing and developing junior colleagues.
* Degree and/or professional qualification in marketing, communications, or equivalent experience.
* Positive, proactive and highly organised with strong problem-solving skills.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Planning, managing and delivering a range of marketing, PR and communications activities.
* Designing and driving powerful integrated campaigns to promote the organisation, brand and products.
* Using data and insight to shape campaigns and deliver personalised, impactful communications.
* Owning digital resources and ensuring content, usability and functionality are continually monitored and enhanced.
* Line managing at least one direct report; offering coaching, feedback and regular reviews.
* Representing the organisation at events, meetings and committees.
Where You'll Be Based:
The office is based in the York area with parking available on-site. Initially you'll need to be office based the majority of the time but once settled there is a hybrid working pattern with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. With the frequency of time in the office the role is best suited to those in and around North Yorkshire or Leeds areas. Ideal commutes are from Wetherby, Leeds, Selby or York and surrounding towns and villages.
