We are currently recruiting for an experienced Civils Estimator to join a well-established civil engineering subcontractor based in South Manchester.
The business operates across a broad range of civil engineering sectors, delivering projects including groundworks for large residential housing schemes, United Utilities frameworks, highways works, and drainage packages.
The Role
As Civils Estimator, you will be responsible for pricing and tendering civil engineering works across multiple sectors, working closely with the commercial and delivery teams.
Key responsibilities include:

Preparing accurate cost estimates and tenders
*
Working on single-stage and two-stage tenders
*
Assessing drawings, specifications, and enquiries
*
Liaising with clients, supply chain, and internal teams
*
Producing take-offs, budgets, and tender submissions
*
Supporting value engineering and risk assessment
About You
*
Proven experience as a Civils Estimator
*
Background working for a civil engineering subcontractor (preferred)
*
Strong knowledge of groundworks, drainage, highways, or utilities
*
Experience with single-stage and two-stage estimating
*
Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
*
Confident communicator with good organisational skills
