Your role
Join us at Pico and become an integral part of our team! We are seeking a dedicated individual to take on the vital responsibility of testing, troubleshooting and repairing our products and associated test requirements. Working as part of our test team, contributing to the evaluation of product quality, reliability and performance, ensuring our product meets the high standards expected by our customers.
Responsibilities include:
* Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and repair of products and test equipment to maintain product quality and reliability
* Assess items returned by customers, products from off-site assemblers, and equipment flagged for quality and performance checks
* Support evaluations for new products and assist in validating test processes to ensure compliance with industry standards
* Interpret and analyse schematics, layouts, BOMs, and other diagnostic documentation to identify and resolve issues effectively
* Perform component-level diagnostics and repair on analog and digital circuitry within multilayer PCBs
* Work collaboratively with customers, suppliers, and internal design teams to communicate findings and support continuous improvement
* Apply best practices in 'Design for Test' methodologies to improve manufacturability and test efficiency
What we're looking for
We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a keen ability to interpret and analyze schematics, layouts, BOMs, and other essential diagnostic documentation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in component level diagnostics and repair of Analogue and digital circuitry on complex multilayer PCB’s.
In addition to the above, we require someone with adept soldering skills and a comprehensive understanding of the operational protocols within Contract Electronic Manufacturers. Exceptional communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers, suppliers, and design teams.
Candidates should possess a familiarity with test strategies and adhere to best practices, particularly in 'Design ForTest' methodologies. Additional qualifications such as training or hands-on experience in analog and digital circuits, as well as design and test methodologies, are highly valued.
