Summary of Role:
We seek enthusiastic graduate engineers to join our Energy team. Responsibilities include software design, development, and implementation for PLC/IED control and/or SCADA systems. The role involves working on all project lifecycle aspects, including upgrades, modifications, and new builds in renewable power, storage, transmission, and distribution industries. Training will be provided. This role is ideal for graduates seeking a career in control system automation software.
* University Degree (BEng, BSc, MEng, MSc) in Control Systems, Computer Systems, Electronic Engineering, or similar
* Coding experience in high-level languages (e.g., C, VB, C#, Java)
* Understanding of Object-Oriented Programming
* Interest in operating systems, virtualization, and networking
* Willingness to travel and work remotely when required
* Experience with PLC software following IEC61131 standards
* Experience with SCADA systems
* Knowledge of communication protocols
* Experience with virtualization tools like VMWare or HyperV
* Experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 and domain configuration
* Network switch and firewall configuration experience
* Experience with simulation software such as SIMIT, PICS, or WinMOD
* Full UK Driving Licence
