Overview
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Estimator to join our client's growing team, supporting the delivery of commercial and industrial projects with values up to £3 million. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to play a key role in securing and delivering high-quality mechanical projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for HVAC projects up to £3m
* Analyse drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
* Produce detailed take-offs for materials, labour, and equipment
* Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotationsSupport the preparation and submission of tenders and proposals
* Work closely with project managers, engineers, and commercial teams
* Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
* Maintain and update estimating databases and cost models
Requirements
* Proven experience in HVAC estimating within commercial and/or industrial sectors
* Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
* Excellent numerical, analytical, and communication skills
* Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office
Desirable
* Experience working on Design & Build tenders
* Familiarity with a range of estimating software platforms
* Broader knowledge of mechanical project delivery processes
