Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Office-based
Reports to: Financial Controller
Type: Full-Time (37.5 hours/week)
Robert Half are pleased to be partnering with an international PE backed business in Tewkesbury who are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant on a full-time and permanent basis.
You will manage the purchase ledger, process invoices, and build strong relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders to support accurate and timely financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Processing invoices in both the accounting and invoice approval systems
2. Building relationships with suppliers and other stakeholders
3. Handling supplier queries and resolving issues
4. Assisting with mid and end of month payment runs
5. Assisting in the improvement of purchase ledger processes
6. Reconciling bank and supplier statements
7. Support the Financial Controller and wider finance team during month-end close
Your Profile:
8. Understanding of general accounting procedures
9. Proficient in Sage 50 and ERP systems
10. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
11. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
12. Team-oriented and collaborative
In return, the successful candidate can expect a salary of between £27-32.5k plus benefits including a discretionary bonus scheme, private medical insurance, and more.
