Damp & Mould Labourer – Leicester
Fixed Term Contract | Full-Time (6 Months)

Fraser Edwards are currently recruiting for a Damp & Mould Labourer to join a well-established Social Housing Contractor on a 6-month fixed-term contract, providing additional resource over the winter period.
This role will involve working on the Damp & Mould workstream across social housing properties throughout Leicester and surrounding areas. While the main office base is Rushden, travel to site across the Leicestershire patch will be required.
You will be responsible for carrying out decorating, general maintenance and minor repairs, ensuring works are completed to a high standard with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Your day-to-day duties will include:
• Completing responsive repairs, decorating and maintenance works in line with job specifications
• Addressing damp and mould-related issues within occupied properties
• Working efficiently to meet productivity targets and deadlines
• Escalating requirements for additional trades to the Supervisor when needed
• Working collaboratively with other operatives on-site
• Accurately recording job details and submitting data using electronic systems
• Delivering a professional and customer-focused service to residents and client representatives
• Adhering to safeguarding policies and health & safety standards at all times
• Complying with occupational road risk policies and procedures
Essential Requirements:
• Previous labouring, general maintenance or decorating experience
• Understanding of damp and mould conditions
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to pass a basic DBS check
Desirable:
• Experience working within social housing
