SEN Teacher
Salary: £160 - £250 per day

Teaching Personnel is seeking a motivated and committed SEN Teacher to provide support across a number of our SEN partner schools in the Solihull, (B90) area.
About this role:
We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teacher to join our team and provide tailored support to pupils with a broad range of special educational needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and Processing or Learning Difficulties (LD). The ideal candidate will be confident in creating inclusive, nurturing learning environments, developing and delivering personalised education plans, and working collaboratively with support staff, families, and external professionals. Through careful assessment, targeted intervention, and ongoing monitoring of progress, the SEN Teacher will play a vital role in removing barriers to learning and helping each pupil achieve sustained, meaningful progress.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver personalised teaching and learning for pupils with SEND, including SEMH, ASD, and learning or processing difficulties.
Create inclusive, supportive classroom environments that meet the diverse needs of SEND learners.
Develop, implement, and review Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and tailored support strategies for pupils with SEND.
Assess pupils' needs and monitor progress to inform targeted interventions and next steps.
Work collaboratively with support staff, such as Teaching Assistants and specialist SEND practitioners.
Liaise with parents, carers, and external agencies to ensure coordinated and effective SEND provision.
Adapt teaching methods and resources to suit a wide range of learning styles and accessibility requirements.
Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation using appropriate SEND‑focused strategies.
Maintain accurate records relating to SEND progress, interventions, and safeguarding.
Contribute to whole‑school SEND practice, including meetings, training, and the development of inclusive approaches.
