IT Administrator Location: Nottingham 2-3 days per week in the office Department: Data and IT Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent Role Overvi ewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive IT Administrator to manage and support internal IT operations at our Nottingham office. This role is central to maintaining a consistent and effective IT environment across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for first-line support, asset management, process improvement, and collaboration with our external IT partner to deliver a seamless experience for all internal user s. Key Responsibili ties IT S upportProvide first-line support for internal IT queries and incidents across hardware, software, and access manag ement.Manage and maintain the internal IT ticketing system, ensuring resolution within a 48-hour average response time.Coordinate with the external IT provider to escalate and monitor complex technical issues through to resol ution.Oversee IT onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring 100% of new starters receive equipment on Day 1 and that all leaver equipment returns are scheduled before depa rture.Deliver periodic training and guidance on internal tools and best practices where req uired. Asset & Systems Man agementMaintain accurate, up-to-date records of all IT hardware and software assets.Conduct regular audits and support the implementation of a live tracking system for IT equ ipment.Ensure sufficient inventory levels for timely equipment provisioning across loc ations.Maintain and update internal IT documentation, including how-to guides and system pro tocols.Monitor and report on IT performance metrics, including ticket resolution trends and system usage pa tterns. Process Improvement & Cost ControlCollaborate with teams across the business to identify process bottlenecks and recommend impro vements.Support automation and workflow enhancement init iatives.Monitor external IT support costs and assist in reducing monthly spend through improved internal triage and res olution. Key Req uirementsExperience in an IT support or administration role, preferably within a multi-location env ironment.Proficient in troubleshooting hardware and software issues (Windows, macOS, common Saa S tools).Familiarity with ticketing systems and IT asset management p latforms.Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple pr iorities.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively acro ss teams.Self-starter with a continuous improvement mindset. Desira ble SkillsExperience with Microsoft 365, Monday.com, Slack, Zoom, and device managem ent tools.Exposure to supporting hybrid or rem ote teams.Interest in IT automation or operational efficie ncy tools.
