The Role:
* Assisting on a wide range of commercial litigation matters including contractual and commercial disputes
* Supporting cases across litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution
* Exposure to professional negligence, injunctions and reputation management issues
* Involvement in contentious insolvency and public law-related disputes
* Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on complex matters
* Gradually developing responsibility for managing your own caseload
* Delivering commercially focused advice to a diverse client base
* Collaborating with colleagues across national and international offices
The Candidate:
* Newly Qualified Solicitor (NQ) with a seat in commercial litigation or disputes
* Exposure to contentious work through training contract or prior experience
* Strong interest in developing a career in commercial disputes
* Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
* Excellent organisational and time-management skills
* Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
* Team-oriented but capable of working independently when required
* Professional approach when dealing with clients and stakeholders
