We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented eCommerce Trading Executive to join a sportswear/streetwear fashion brand. In this role, you will manage and monitor site performance, sales, and stock levels, while supporting product launches, promotions, and campaigns. You will collaborate closely with operations, content, and design teams to ensure accurate product data, optimised site presentation, and a seamless customer experience. The role also involves analysing competitor activity, market trends, and customer behaviour to inform trading strategies, as well as preparing reports and supporting seasonal and event-based trading activities.
Main Responsibilities Will Include:
Trading & Reporting - Monitor daily/weekly site performance, sales, traffic, and conversion KPIs; prepare trading reports with insights on product performance, customer behaviour, and competitor activity; and support seasonal, monthly, and event-based performance reviews
Product & Assortment Management - Assist with digital range planning, order placement, and OTB monitoring; ensure accurate and timely product launches with strong copy, imagery, and SEO; and highlight opportunities and risks across bestsellers, underperformers, and stock availability
Promotions & Events - Support set-up and execution of online promotions, campaigns, and discount strategies; track performance of events such as Black Friday, bundles, and markdowns with post-event analysis; and assist with real-time trading reads during peak periods
Stock & Availability - Monitor stock levels, working with operations to ensure replenishment; flag risks on availability, overstocks, and sell-through; recommend trading actions; and support stock requests for wholesale and marketplace channels
Digital Content & Data - Maintain accurate product data and site hygiene across attributes, categorisation, and navigation; collaborate with content and design teams to optimise product presentation and improve the customer journey
Competitor & Market Insights - Conduct competitor benchmarking across pricing, promotions, assortment, and UX; research digital retail and customer trends to support and inform trading strategies
Person Specifications:
Experience in eCommerce, merchandising, inventory management, or retail analytics (sports brand experience preferred)
Bachelor's degree in Merchandising, Business Administration, or related field preferred
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
Commercially minded with a genuine passion for digital retail and trading performance
Confident working with data, reporting tools, Microsoft Office, and eCommerce platforms
