Experience
Essential criteria
1. Experience of working in a team under appropriate supervision
2. Able to demonstrate an understanding of principles of effective customer care
3. Good basic hygiene skills (e.g. food handling, hand washing)
Desirable criteria
4. Previous experience of working within a care environment/NHS
5. Experience of working as part of a multidisciplinary team
6. Experience of working with the public
Knowledge
Essential criteria
7. Knowledge of when to seek advice and refer to a registered care professional
8. Understanding of the importance of the promotion of health and well-being (Making Every Contact Count)
9. Able to listen to advice from colleagues, agree a plan of action and implement
Qualifications
Essential criteria
10. Good standard of general education including literacy and numeracy
Desirable criteria
11. NVQ Level 2 in care or customer services
