Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare detailed mechanical estimates by reviewing drawings, specifications, and scope.
* Conduct quantity take-offs and cost analysis for materials, labor, and equipment.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather required information.
* Review subcontractor and supplier quotations to ensure accuracy.
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering suggestions.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing and industry standards.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Mechanical Estimator within the construction or mechanical services industry.
* Strong understanding of mechanical systems, including HVAC and plant equipment.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Proficiency with estimation software and Microsoft Office applications.
* Strong analytical and numerical skills.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering, construction, or related fields are desirable.
